Registered publisher

Voxnettle is published by Blue Ant Media Corporation, a corporation registered under the Canada Business Corporations Act.

Editorial standards

Advertising placements are clearly separated from editorial reporting. Sponsored segments are labelled as such on air and in print.

Direct booking

Every placement is booked directly with our team — no ad exchange, no programmatic auction, no third-party reseller.

Unit 04 — Jack Labels

Host-read
A mention read live by the podcast host during the episode, rather than a pre-recorded ad drop.
Newsletter credit
A named mention and short line of copy inside one edition of our email newsletter.
Episode page
The on-site page for a single podcast episode, where sponsor links are listed under the show notes.
Partner-labelled feature
A longer studio segment clearly marked as a paid partnership, distinct from our regular reporting.
Make-good
A replacement placement offered if a booked mention is missed or misread, at no extra charge.
Coverage area
The neighbourhoods our reporting and audience are drawn from: the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport.

Unit 05 — Checklist

  • A single point of contact for the length of the booking
  • Script or copy review before anything airs or publishes
  • A confirmed run date and episode or edition number
  • A written summary once the placement has run
  • A make-good if a booked mention is missed
  • Clear labelling of every sponsored segment

Unit 06 — Who's Listening

Our reporting and our weekly podcast are built around one stretch of the city: the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport. We cover the businesses opening and closing on those main streets, the community meetings that decide what gets built next, and the people running shops, studios and venues in between.

Advertisers who book with us are usually local themselves — a bakery a few blocks from Dundas West, a bike shop on Roncesvalles, a community theatre near Bloor. A mention on our show or in our newsletter reaches the same neighbourhood readers who already tune in for the news.

Unit 07 — Consistency

Every host-read is written to the same brief format and reviewed by the same producer before it airs, so a four-spot run sounds like one campaign rather than four separate reads. Newsletter credits go through the same layout template each edition. We don't promise a result from any placement — we can only guarantee that the placement runs as booked, on the date agreed, in the form agreed.

Unit 08 — Bring This

  • — Your business or organization name as you want it read on air
  • — A short brief: what you're promoting and any dates that matter
  • — A logo or wordmark file for newsletter credits and site placements
  • — A destination link (website, event page or booking page)
  • — For the Full Rack Campaign: any existing photography or artwork for the studio feature

Unit 09 — Studio & Coverage

Our studio and offices sit at 99 Atlantic Avenue, 4th Floor, Toronto, ON M6K 3J8th Floor, in Toronto's west end. Our reporting and advertising coverage extends northwest from there into the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport — the studio address and the coverage area are not the same footprint, and we mention both here so advertisers know exactly where their message will be heard.
