Unit 01 — Masthead
About Voxnettle
Voxnettle is a local news site and weekly podcast covering the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport, published by Blue Ant Media Corporation. We started as a weekly podcast in 2021 and added a site and newsletter as the show found a following in the neighbourhood.
Our focus stays narrow on purpose: five neighbourhoods, one newsroom, one weekly episode. We report on local business, community meetings and the arts scene, and we sell advertising directly to the same businesses our reporting covers.
Unit 02 — Coverage
Our studio and offices are at 99 Atlantic Avenue, 4th Floor, Toronto, ON M6K 3J8. Reporting, the podcast and advertising both extend northwest from there through the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport — five distinct stretches of the city that share transit lines, a strong small-business scene and a fair amount of overlap in who lives where.
If your business or organization sits inside that stretch — from the rail lands near the Junction, along Roncesvalles and Bloor, through Bloordale and Dufferin Grove, up to Davenport — you're in our coverage area. Outside it, we're honest that our audience won't be the right fit.
Visit or reach us any business day: see the full contact page for hours and directions.
Unit 03 — How a Placement Gets Made
-
1
First contact
You send a brief through the form or by phone — what you're promoting, when, and which placement fits.
-
2
Script and scheduling
Our producer drafts the read or newsletter copy with you and slots it against the coming episode calendar.
-
3
Publication
The placement airs, publishes or sends on the confirmed date, labelled clearly wherever it appears.
-
4
Confirmation
You receive a written summary or listen count, depending on the placement you booked.
Unit 04 — Standing & Roles
Voxnettle is published by Blue Ant Media Corporation, a corporation registered under the Canada Business Corporations Act, with its registered office at 99 Atlantic Avenue, 4th Floor, Toronto, ON M6K 3J8.
Producer
Writes and edits every host-read script, and schedules placements against the episode calendar.
Advertising coordinator
Your point of contact for booking, invoicing and confirming run dates.
Editor
Reviews sponsored copy for labelling and keeps it separate from independent reporting.
Unit 05 — How We Keep It Consistent
Every host-read is written to the same short format and checked by the same producer, whether it's a single spot or the sixth mention in a Full Rack Campaign. Newsletter credits follow the same layout each edition, and sponsored studio features carry the same on-air label every time. That consistency is about how the work gets made — we don't promise a result from any placement, only that it runs as booked.
We keep the same people on a booking from the first call to the closing report, so an advertiser isn't handed between departments partway through a campaign. If a run spans several weeks, the same producer who wrote the first script writes the last one too.
