Unit 01 — Rate Card
Advertise with Voxnettle
Three placements, booked directly, reaching the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport.
Unit 02 — Channels
Single Patch Spot$215 CAD
One 30-second host-read mention in our weekly podcast covering the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport, plus a permanent link on the episode page. This is our entry placement, built for local makers, venues and independent shops that want a single, well-placed mention rather than a longer run.
- One host-read segment, up to 30 seconds
- Script drafted with you and polished by our producer
- Permanent link on the episode's show-notes page
- A listen count for that episode delivered 14 days after it airs
Four-Channel Host Reads$760 CAD
Four host-read mentions spread across a month of episodes, paired with two credits in our weekly newsletter. This placement suits businesses and arts organizations across Toronto's northwest that want a consistent voice over several weeks — a season announcement, a series of events, or an ongoing offer.
- Four host-read segments across four consecutive weekly episodes
- Two named credits inside the weekly newsletter
- One briefing call to plan the messaging across the month
- Script approval before each read airs
- A combined summary once the run is complete
Full Rack Campaign$1,350 CAD
A six-week campaign that uses every channel we run at once: the site, the newsletter, the podcast and a longer studio feature. Built for established organizations across the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport that have a longer campaign to run rather than a single announcement.
- Site placements running for the full six weeks
- Four newsletter credits, one roughly every ten days
- Six podcast host-read mentions across the campaign
- One partner-labelled studio feature, clearly marked as sponsored
- Planning session, weekly check-ins and a closing report
Unit 03 — Notes
Prices include the placement itself, script or copy review, and a written confirmation once it has run. What can change an estimate: extra revisions past the second draft, custom audio production beyond a standard read, or artwork resizing for the site. Any change to scope is agreed and confirmed with you before we bill for it.
Every placement is scheduled against our existing editorial calendar, so a confirmed date depends on availability the week you book — ask us for the next open slot.

Unit 05 — Scope Limits
Being clear about what we don't do is part of how we keep the newsroom's reporting separate from what we sell. We don't run programmatic or auction-based ad buys — every placement is booked and scripted with a person on our team. We don't write copy that presents an advertiser's claims as our own reporting, and every sponsored segment is labelled. We don't extend a placement outside the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport coverage area, and we don't accept every advertiser category — restricted categories are set out in our advertising terms.
Unit 06 — Who Books With Us
Most of our advertisers are already part of the neighbourhoods we cover — a café near Keele and Dundas, a bookstore on Roncesvalles, a nonprofit running a program out of Dufferin Grove. They book with us because our audience already lives, works or shops in the same five neighbourhoods.
A smaller group are organizations based elsewhere in Toronto that are opening a location or running an event specifically in the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove or Davenport, and want their announcement to reach people who already follow local coverage there.
Unit 07 — Fits Well For
Independent shops
A new opening, a seasonal sale or a move to a new storefront on one of our main streets.
Community organizations
Program launches, fundraisers or a meeting series that needs local awareness ahead of time.
Arts venues
A show run, a gallery opening or a festival that draws on our existing arts coverage.
Longer campaigns
Organizations with a multi-week story to tell fit the Full Rack Campaign better than a single spot.
Not a fit: national brands with no presence in the coverage area, or a one-off ask for a placement outside our five neighbourhoods.
Unit 08 — Tools of the Trade
Podcast episodes are recorded and mixed in our own studio at 99 Atlantic Avenue. The newsletter goes out through a standard email platform with subscriber-managed unsubscribe links. Site placements are set through our content management system, sized to the same templates used across the site.
