Unit 02 — About the Service
What exactly is included in a placement?
It depends on the tier. A Single Patch Spot is one 30-second host-read plus a link on the episode page. The Four-Channel Host Reads add newsletter credits and a briefing call. The Full Rack Campaign covers site placements, newsletter, podcast mentions and a studio feature together. The full breakdown is on the rate card.
What area does Voxnettle actually reach?
Our reporting, podcast and newsletter are built around the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport. We don't sell placements aimed outside that coverage area.
What format do host-read segments take?
A host-read is spoken live by our podcast host during the episode, written and approved with you beforehand — not a pre-recorded ad drop.
How long does a typical placement run?
A Single Patch Spot is a one-episode mention. The Four-Channel Host Reads run across a month. The Full Rack Campaign runs for six weeks. Run lengths are fixed per tier and don't extend without a new booking.

How do I start a booking?
Send a brief through the form in Book a placement or call us directly. Include what you're promoting and any dates that matter.
What happens after I send my first message?
Our advertising coordinator replies within one business day to confirm the tier, discuss scheduling, and set up a script draft if the placement includes a host-read.
How far in advance should I book?
Placements are scheduled against our existing episode and newsletter calendar, so availability varies week to week — ask for the next open slot when you first reach out.
Who reviews the script before it airs?
Our producer drafts and polishes every script with you, and you approve the final wording before it's read on air.
Unit 04 — Pricing & Payment
What do the listed prices include?
Each price covers the placement itself, script or copy review, and a written confirmation once it has run. Extra revision rounds or custom production can change the estimate — details are in our pricing note.
Are the three tiers the whole rate card?
Yes. Single Patch Spot ($215 CAD), Four-Channel Host Reads ($760 CAD) and Full Rack Campaign ($1,350 CAD) are the entire priced offer — there's no extra tier above them.
What if I need to cancel a booked placement?

Unit 06 — What's Used
Episodes are recorded and mixed in our own studio. The newsletter goes out through a standard email platform. Site placements are set through our content management system, sized to fit our existing templates.
Unit 07 — Who Asks Us This
Most questions come from small business owners across the Junction, Roncesvalles, Bloordale, Dufferin Grove and Davenport who are booking with a local publication for the first time and want to know exactly what they're paying for.
A second group are returning advertisers checking scheduling or renewal details ahead of a new season of episodes.
